The first time I set foot on the land where Vyom 1972 would rise, I knew it was destined for the stars. There was something cosmic in the air, like the universe had whispered, "This is where it begins." I was smitten. All I could think about was building an incredible community of amateur stargazers and, more importantly, how little I actually knew about the infinite expanse above. But that’s the beauty of it—learning as we create a dark sky sanctuary and an open sky museum together. Also, let's not forget to grab a few jaw-dropping images of the deep sky while we're at it!

I've always been captivated by the stars. For years, I gazed at the sky, first with my own eyes, and later, as light pollution crept in, through the lenses of other photographers. As the world dimmed the night sky, my love for it only grew. No surprise then that Interstellar (2014) and Arrival (2016) are top of my movie list, and that Neil deGrasse Tyson, Brian Cox, and Katie Mack are my go-to science gurus. That scene in Interstellar where Dylan Thomas’s words echo—"Rage, rage against the dying of the light"—moves my soul every time. It’s raw, it’s poetic, and it perfectly captures the urgency of our connection to the stars. And these science greats—they’re straight-up, no-nonsense voices of reason—cutting through the mystique with sheer science, and it’s mind-blowingly good. There’s just something about the vastness, the mystery, and the cold, hard facts of space that keeps me hooked.

One of the big reasons I embarked on this astro-adventure was the sheer lack of hands-on exploration programs for gifted students—the very ones I work with. As a psychologist (yes, I wear multiple hats), I run a pretty cool company that applies psychology in real-world settings. The moment I merged the Vyom 1972 project with my gifted education programs, I realized this was more than just stargazing—it was a tool for cognitive development, disguised as an out-of-this-world experience.

Now, with this land under the Bortle scale 3 (between 3 and 4 actually) darkness, Vyom 1972 is the perfect spot to build something extraordinary. It's not just about astronomy; it’s about creating experiences we can all share, learn from, and maybe—just maybe—change the way we think about the universe.

See you under the stars.

All the brilliant ideas in this article are 100% mine. The snappy wording and occasional witty remark? Well, let’s just say I had a little help from my AI co-pilot, ChatGPT—polishing my genius, one sentence at a time, including this one...
